Most of the birds acquired to become the foundation birds for our breeding program have been rooted in Maple Leaf Aviary (Josh Maple) banded cockatiels along with a couple birds from Tame Tiels Aviary (Sherri Lewis).
All of these birds go back to a few specific lines and specific birds. You will find the following birds scattered throughout the pedigrees of the above birds: The '56' & Robert's Hen pairing (NCS 16P-11-04 "The Man"), The 66 & 107 pairing ("Beauty" & "Tangeray" are both products of), "Higgins" NCS 91J-419-05 Lutino Pied cock (The 2005/2009 Higgins Winner), The King & Queen Pairing (Higgins, Bertha, etc). Almost all of my birds go back to one or more of these lines.
I would like to thank Sherri Lewis & Josh Maple for the great breedings that they have done. Their breeding and dedication has put me on the right track to being able to produce quality birds. They took the time to mentor me when I first started in exhibition cockatiels and the birds that I am winning with now are a product of that. THANK YOU! |
